Jeep Safari in the Jungles of Sariska

Tourists can explore the jungle of Sariska by making two types of Safari Booking, Sariska Jeep Safari and Sariska Canter Safari. There are two gates in Sariska, Sariska Gate and Tehla gate and each of the gate has three zones.

Jeep Safari: Approximate time for exploring the jungle of Sariska by Jeep Safari is of 3:30 hours. By this Jeep Safari, a small group of six people can explore the jungle and the wild animals in their natural habitat. Though Jeep safari can be done by any six people but it is especially suggested for wildlife photographers as they can easily capture the unique moments of Royal Tiger and the other wild lives in their camera.

Canter Safari: Other than Jeep Safari, the option of Canter Safari is also there for the tourists to explore the jungle of Sariska. Generally open vans are called Canters and it best suits to the tourists of large group. It can accommodate 20 people at a time and it travels in all zones.

Air: the nearest airport to Sariska National Park is Jaipur Sanganer Airport which is only at a distance of 110 kms from the Sariska National Park.
Rail: The nearest railway station is at Alwar which is only at a distance of 38 kms from Sariska.
Bus: it is well connected by the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC) to different cities of Rajasthan.

Best Season to Visit Sariska

The best season to visit Sariska National Park is in winter season from October to February. The temperature during these months vary from 15 degree C to 25 degree C. In summer season from March to June usually temperature goes to 49 degree C. temperatures are too hot during these months but those tourists who can tolerate heat, this time is best to spot numbers of wild animals and monsoon from June to September, the park remains closed.
